Through the insert program of Hermann Bilz you will achieve unique productivity, efficiency, reliability and economy. By manufacturing "Made in Esslingen" in combination with leading coating-companies , we can also offer special geometries at short notice and in small quantities.

Indexable inserts from Hermann Bilz

The insert-production is characterized by its high precision, tightest tolerances with fully-milled or eroded cutting plates. The high accuracy allows their use for the production of holes with IT8. The grinding technology enables different geometries of chip breakers for secure chip breaking . Special made HSS indexable inserts are available with high positive rake angles to significantly reduce the cutting forces in unstable conditions and large cutting widths. The application-specific cutting edge preparation, in combination with wear-resistant or friction-minimizing coating, ensures maximum performance.

A special highlight are guiding chamfers on the side of the cutting inserts, which ensure a safe and chatter-free guidance of long protruding drilling tools. In addition, they smooth the bore surface so that you almost achieve grinding quality.
